Analytics and the Use of AI

Over the years, SynControl has developed various ways to allow users to set up analytical dashboards that make sense to them. In 2024 & 2025, we went in a new direction, which is described below.

1. Ease of Working with Data via Table Improvements

In most pages that list data (products, technical folders, suppliers, bookings…), you can see some useful functions designed to streamline your work and make data more accessible. These improvements include:

Decision about what columns to see: Customize your view to show only the most relevant information.
Simple sorting: Easily sort data to quickly find what you’re looking for.
Powerful filtering functions: Narrow down your dataset with advanced filtering options.
And many more! Enjoy a more intuitive interface that simplifies complex data interactions.

2. Configurable Dashboards

Our new configurable dashboards allow you to display data in a way that suits your needs. Now, you can create multiple dashboards for different user groups or purposes, ensuring that the right insights are delivered at the right time. By default, you have at least a “Personal Dashboard” available. There are several ways to get data to that dashboard:

Via tables “Vizualize” feature;
Via tables “Add to dashboard” feature;
Using “Metabase” feature;
Or using “Customization” service to create completely tailored widgets.

Each method is designed to integrate seamlessly with your workflow, allowing you to quickly build dashboards that provide actionable insights.

3. A New Way to Access Data via AI Chat Interface

In 2025, we are introducing a completely new way to access your data – via a chatbot interface. This feature leverages advanced artificial intelligence to allow you to ask questions and receive responses in natural language. It’s a faster and more interactive method to retrieve and understand your data without having to navigate through complex menus.

The AI chat interface is designed to be intuitive and conversational. Not only does it understand your queries, but it also learns from your interactions to provide more precise results over time. This makes data exploration more efficient and accessible for all users, whether you’re a seasoned analyst or new to data-driven decision-making.
