3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for all activities that occur under their account
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts
  • Accounts are non-transferable

4. OAuth 2.0 Client Registration

4.1 Dynamic Client Registration

  • OAuth clients may be registered dynamically through our API
  • Client applications must comply with OAuth 2.0 security best practices
  • Redirect URIs must be pre-approved or match allowed patterns

4.2 Client Responsibilities

  • Protect client credentials (client_id and client_secret)
  • Use appropriate OAuth flows for your application type
  • Respect rate limits and API usage policies
  • Implement proper token storage and management

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Transmit malicious code or engage in activities that harm the service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

9.2 Support

  • Support is provided during business hours
  • Critical issues may receive priority attention
  • Support channels include email and in-app messaging

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SynControl shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the past 12 months
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you

You agree to indemnify and hold SynControl harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

  • Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination
