Testing Lab List

The Testing Labs List is where you manage all testing laboratories linked to your organization within the Syncontrol platform. This section allows you to record lab details such as name, location, and contact information, helping you easily identify and connect with labs for product testing and quality assurance. You can view, create, edit, or delete testing lab records as needed to keep your database accurate and organized.

Step 1: Log in to your Syncontrol account and click Contacts from the top navigation bar.

Step 2: From the dropdown menu, select Testing Labs List.

Step 3: You’ll land on the Testing Labs page showing all existing testing labs.
If no labs exist yet, you’ll need to create one (see Create a New Testing Lab section).

The Testing Labs List page displays all labs in a structured table format.

1IDDisplays the unique identifier automatically assigned to each testing lab.
2NameShows the name of the testing laboratory (e.g., Bureau Veritas HK, Bureau Veritas Shanghai). Click on the name to view detailed information.
3CountryIndicates the lab’s country code (e.g., CN for China, HK for Hong Kong).
4CityDisplays the city where the lab is located.
5ProvinceIndicates the province or regional area of the lab (if applicable).
6WebsiteDisplays the lab’s official website, if provided.
7English AddressShows the lab’s address in English for global reference.
8InformationContains any additional notes or information related to the lab.

Use the Search box and filters (like Show 10, 25, or 50 entries) to quickly find a testing lab by name, location, or country.

Create a New Testing Lab

You can add a new testing laboratory to the system by creating a record with its name, location, contact details, and other relevant information. This helps keep all lab data organized and easily accessible for future reference.

Step 1: From the Testing Labs List page, click Create a new Testing Lab at the top-right corner of the screen.

Alternatively, navigate to Contacts → Testing Labs List → New Testing Lab.

Step 2: The New Testing Lab form opens. Fill out the fields as described below.

Testing Lab Information Section

Enter the key details of the testing lab, including its name, location, and contact information. These details help identify the lab and make it easier to communicate with the right contact person.

6Contact Email (Req.)Enter the email address of the contact person. Multiple emails can be separated by commas.
7Add ContactClick +Add Contact to include multiple contact persons if needed.

Address and Additional Information Section

Include address details and any additional information to complete the testing lab profile.

Once you have defined all the required fields then click on the Save Testing Lab button to save the New Testing lab.

Once created, users appear in the Testing Lab. You can view or edit their details anytime

View & Manage Testing Labs

You can view, edit, and manage all testing labs from the Testing Labs List page. This helps keep your lab database organized and up to date. Each lab record can be opened to review details such as its name, location, and contact information. From here, administrators can make updates when lab information changes or remove labs that are no longer active.

Edit Testing Lab

You can edit a testing lab’s details to keep its information accurate and up to date. This includes updating the lab’s name, country, city, or contact details whenever there are changes. Regularly updating lab information helps maintain reliable data for coordination, communication, and reporting.

Step 1: Click on the lab’s name in the Testing Labs List to open its details.

Step 2: Update any necessary fields such as name, country, contact information, or address.

Step 3: After making the necessary changes, click Save Testing Lab to apply and save the updates.

Delete Testing Lab

You can delete a testing lab when it is no longer active or needed in the system. Deleting a lab permanently removes its record and all related information from the platform. Make sure to review the lab’s details before deletion, as once removed, the record cannot be recovered.

Step 1: Log in to your Syncontrol account and go to Contacts → Testing Labs List.

Step 2: Click on the lab’s name from the Testing Labs List which you want to delete.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Testing Lab (red button).

Step 4: Confirm the deletion when prompted. The system will permanently remove the lab’s record.
